We Need To Take It Slow – Day 21

Jerry: hey babe…how is work…you tired

Me: Hey you, work is good! Busy but good. I’m not too tired yet. How is your workday?

Jerry: mine is good babe…we need to talk about moving

Me: Moving? Are you moving? Who is moving?

Jerry: babe I am not moving..i will only move with you

Me: Ok, then where are we moving to?

Jerry: the kids will be starting school so we have a year to think about it…I just think we need to talk about what we are gonna do babe and what we want to plan for

Me: We can make a plan, but I can’t move. My kids must graduate from SHS. It is something that is very important to me.

Jerry: that is ok babe…mikey will go wherever…he will never leave me…macy will be a senior this year and will marry Austin…moira is gonna be in 11th grade then she will prob go with justin…he wants to be a cop I think

Me: I don’t care what any of the kids want to do I just don’t want to leave any of them. When we decide to live together, I want to have as many kids as possible with us that want to be with us.

Jerry: ok babe…me too…but we need to make sure the kids are ok being together.

Me: We have plenty of time to make sure that we blend well. Also, I don’t want to live together and not be married. I am not asking you to get married but I have never been married and I would love nothing more than to have a husband.

Jerry: we need to take it slow…if we want to live together we will get married…I have been married 2 times and if I get married again it will be forever…I love you but want to make sure before…my last wife heather was terrible to my kids and I wont do that again.

Me: That is sad. Why did you stay married to her if she was mean to your kids.

Jerry: I was stupid…

Me: Well, no one here is going to be mean to any kids. Would you want to live in Somerset?

Jerry: yes babe but we need more bedrooms…I will come up with something…we can add on the basement…what do you think

Me: I think it’s a great idea. So, we can save money and then get it done so they have a room. Let’s plan for 12 months and we can put money together and move next summer! I am so excited!! Next summer we will move, and I can get married!!

Me: Ok, maybe not get married lol

Jerry: sorry babe…they called for me to break up a fight…we might get married…one thing at a time

Me: I get anxious. I can take it slow as long as I still have you.

Jerry: babe I am not going anywhere…I love you

So, Big Garland wants to take it slow, nothing serious. He must not remember that he is the one who told me he loved me after 12 days of meeting. He also must not have realized that he is the one who started this conversation on day 21. I love our story. I love our kids. I love the person that he made me be.
